Duties and responsibilities
Deliver end-to-end QA from test cases creation to actual execution
Understand business requirements from which to develop test scenarios / cases
Participate in requirements gathering sessions and solicit information on incomplete requirements
Ensure that user stories contain specific acceptance test conditions which communicate objectives to both technical and non-technical
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
Estimate testing efforts and identify dependencies to support defined testing scope/ timelines
Produce defect metrics and reports on full QA progress
Identify and document steps to test for each feature/bug
Collaborate with Internal Project Team (QA Manager, Project Manager, Developer,
Designer and Stakeholder/ s) to set up and execute scripts independently (Functional and Regression Tests)
Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes, ensuring that test results are accurate, thorough, and appropriately documented.
Appropriately prioritize bugs/ issues with the QA Manager and Internal Project Team
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Certify Sign-off for release to the next testing stage or to the production / live
Recommend possible enhancements to optimize processes through continuous improvement
Coordination with Project Manager and Business Analyst in coming up with the acceptance criteria for user stories.
Monitor efforts to resolve issues and track progress and send out End of Day (EOD)
status reports for testing.
Analyze testing result patterns and other data to ensure continuous improvement in
product quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills involving communicating technical and non-technical information in writing and verbally

Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB) is a plus
1 - 2 years of related experience in manual QA testing (advantage - E-commerce, CRM or similar role in an agile software development environment; preferably with BigCommerce experience /familiarity).
Basic understanding of the basic concept and workflow of agile software development and quality assurance.
Experience / Familiarity with QA process and methodologies.
Ability to work on assigned QA tasks.
