What will be your responsibilities?

To work with team members to identify and evaluate control risks across the business units of Jardines, recommend improvement actions and support risk management. The role will focus primarily on IT and cybersecurity risks, and there will be opportunities to cover financial and operational areas where appropriate during the job progression. Key activities include:


Lead team members in identifying IT and related control risks across the business units of Jardines, design effective audit programs and recommend improvement actions, and support risk management activities.


Provide assurance about effectiveness of IT internal controls for individual business units.


Develop and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure respective key IT risks in the Group are adequately addressed and to facilitate improvements in its control environment.


Assist in internal projects and knowledge sharing.


Develop team members for portfolio succession and professional skills enhancements.


Undertake IT and non-IT audit (when appropriate) projects as per best practice and Group guidelines, and effectively communicate audit results and provide recommendations to the business unit management.


Provide assurance that controls within individual business units are operating effectively and can be relied on to provide accurate information.

Maintain good relationships with key stakeholders of businesses to ensure the key risks in the Group are adequately addressed and to facilitate improvements in its control environment.

Assist in internal projects for continuing development and improvement of GARM, including development of IT audit methodology based on latest technology and trends.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or relevant disciplines.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT audit (internal / external) and/or IT risk advisory, with good ability to understand and review IT risks and controls within business processes.

Relevant professional qualification(s) such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA or CPA is a plus.

Hands-on audit / compliance experience of either IT infrastructure, Agile software development, cybersecurity-related solutions, or cloud security management.

Knowledge of using CAATs and data analytics, and interest in new technology such as RPA, Cloud Computing and AI is a plus.

Flexibility for some travel or to work remotely for assignments.

Fluent in written / spoken English.
