Position Overview:
The Power Platform Developer Specialist is responsible for overseeing innovative and transformative projects. This involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and developing best practice business requirements and changes using industry-leading standards, methodologies, and technologies. The role demands a strategic thinker and enabler, proficient in designing, implementing, and enhancing data analytics to drive business optimization through compelling storytelling. What will be your responsibility?
Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Lead the team in defining and evaluating functional requirements for applications, with a focus on identifying gaps filled through customizations.
Design and develop project deliverables, including but not limited to requirements definition, functional specification, high-level design, detailed level design, functional test support, user acceptance test support, system deployment, and production support.
Verify the completeness and consistency of design deliverables, promptly addressing any inconsistencies.
Conduct comprehensive user training for end clients during conference room pilot demos or user training sessions.
Collaborate in transitioning designs to technical designers/developers, ensuring a thorough understanding of the designs.
Provide functional guidance to development and testing team members for assigned work units.
Participate in quality reviews to guarantee the traceability of end outcomes to the specified requirements.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (open to non-IT course as long as they have solid experience in Software Development)
Proven experience as a technical designer or similar role in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in developing technical solutions skill
Expertise in developing thru Microsoft Development/Power Platforms and programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or others relevant to the specific industry.
Prior experience in data visualization (e.g., PowerBI, Qlikview), data science (R, Python) and Finance process knowledge would be advantageous for this role
Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, with the capability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Relevant certifications in software development, system architecture, or specific programming languages will also be a plus.
