Duties and Responsibilities
• Primary role is to manage, audit, maintain and enforce security best practices across all technology assets in the company
• Identify vulnerabilities for new and existing applications and infrastructure
• Coordinate with cloud operations and development team for implementation of security guidelines and policies
• Recommend and champion initiatives to enhance platform security
• Proactive identification of potential threats to security and recommend steps to mitigate risks associated to those threats
• Document and report on security breaches
• Recommend next steps to remediate vulnerabilities found, and damage assessed
• Liaise with the SOC for all security functions and requirements for the company
Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Has at least 4 years’ experience managing infrastructure or application security in a medium to large scale environment
• Solid knowledge of security frameworks and best practices
• Knowledge/understanding of software development and infrastructure management
• Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical resources
• Above average verbal and written communication skills
• Has experience in managing the infrastructure of an application (security side)
• Worked with projects like web or mobile application (in-house or public domains) preferably external (public domain)
• Experienced an actual system security breach
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, and Azure
• With Server related security experience
