The Associate Director (Team Manager) is a sales enablement role that manages the Associate team in Europe. You will be part of a team that plays a key role in enabling the Managers of Business Development to achieve their sales goals. The Associate Director manages the team, monitors objectives, and ensures key KPIs are met. The role includes providing strategic guidance about how to enhance the company’s sales enablement processes.
As an Associate Director (Team Manager):
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or similar field is required.
A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or other advanced degree is a plus.
Experience and successful track record as an individual contributor.
Knowledge and experience of sales enablement processes.
Experience in Social Selling (social media) is a plus.
At minimum of 5 years of related business development experience, both as an individual contributor and sales team leader.
Ability to cultivate relationships across all internal departments and functions with the main objective to propel business goals at the corporate level.
Experience in working or directly reporting to an Executive Director.
Excellent Communication skills – both verbal and written.
Your Responsibilities as an Associate Director (Team Manager) would be:
Team Development/Management
Reports to the Executive Director, and Executive Programs International.
Recruit, train and develop Associate staff (currently 11 people), with an eye towards maintaining a pipeline of candidates for future Council Business Development Manager positions.
Manage Associates to identify and qualify between new sales leads and calibrate lead goals year-over-year to meet new sales targets
Drive a conversation rate of sales leads to sales opportunities according to prevailing KPIs.
Leveraging Sugar CRM, manage goals/metrics and provide weekly reporting to ensure the sales pipeline remains robust.
Continually research and identify new lead generation resources and refine existing resources.
Develop and maintain processes and practices to ensure all council prospects are identified from every member company.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of pipelines for individual councils to Council Business Development Managers, Council Managers and Council Directors.
Direct and manage the presence of the Associates Team at events, serving to engage council prospects, interface with customers, and serve as the company’s brand ambassadors.
Work with Executive Director to refine and implement new hire orientation, and on-going training and development initiatives.
Manage the Associate Team’s SharePoint presence.
Support the Executive Director in any way necessary to achieve the goals of the department.

Strategy, Vision, and Leadership
Provides input and leadership for all organizational-level, strategic planning processes on sales enablement with the Executive Director and other leaders.
Understands and adapts to changing market and suggests and implements process improvements. Works collaboratively with various groups across the company (i.e., marketing, research, conferences) in order to deliver value to members.
