JOB DESCRIPTION
Graphic Designer / Brand Artist
Reporting to: CPO and Category Manager
Targets of the Position:
1. Candidates will be able to design a wide variety of things across digital and offline media.
2. Candidates will be able to create a brand-styled guide.
3. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a portfolio.
4. Amenable to work with all departments in order to achieve the best results.
Specific Powers and Responsibilities:
1. Conceptualize and create brand artwork, such as logos & packaging, of all Private Labels (food or non-food) using computer software
2. Create brand studies/brand style guides for Private Label umbrella brands and individual brands
3. Collaborate with the team to ensure an accurate reflection of the desired brand message
4. and to finalize packaging text and graphics
5. Analyze Commercial Brand packaging and evaluate trends
6. Revise designs according to feedback
7. Create and present packaging mock-ups
8. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously
Specific Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
2. Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer or in related field.
3. Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience in branding strategies: creating brand names, logos, and design packaging.
4. Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools; Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
5. Preferably with Retail industry experience.
