Armortech belongs to the CTK Group of Companies, the Philippines’ leading manufacturer of armored vehicles. Armortech is perhaps best known for designing the protective “Pope Mobile” for Pope John Paul II’s historic visit to Manila for the 1995 World Youth Day.
Every member of the Armortech team upholds the vision and mission of being a leader in the field while offering professional and individualized care and support to you and your company.
Behind the Pope Mobile
In January 1995, Pope John Paul II rode the CTK-crafted Pope Mobile through the streets of Manila, where more than 4 million spectators watched (a record gathering of World Youth Day participants). Ten years later, after Pope John Paul II's death, this original Pope Mobile was borrowed by the Archdiocese of Manila for pilgrimage purposes at the Quiapo Church.
It has now become symbolic artifact of the Pope's presence in the Philippines.
Leader in the Entertainment Field Trusted for its state-of-the-art armoring technology, Armortech also lends its services to the production of popular TV shows such as ABS-CBN's Kapitan Boom and Palos and GMA 7's Joaquin Bordado and Gagambino. Metro Manila film will be shown in theaters in October 9, 2013.
True to its vision of becoming the country's leader in security logistics, Armortech was one of the first security management and transportation companies to expand its operations nationwide.
Today, Armortech serves as a leader in the field, offering nearly 400 armored vehicles and more than 1,000 qualified security personnel nationwide.
