POSITION SUMMARY

The Data Security Engineer shall design and implement advanced data security methods and algorithms, analyze cryptographic design and implementation, including document creation, in compliance with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), Common Criteria, and Commercial Solutions for Classified program (CSfC).
The Data Security Engineer shall directly report to the Senior Engineering Manager/ Architect and shall work closely with the other Engineering teams in the implementation of project specifications and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any equivalent study.
Experience
- Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Expert knowledge on the following areas:
  - Security standards especially on TCG, IEEE, NIST, FIPS, Common Criteria, CSfC, NIAP, and other IoT Security.
  - Data security risk management and hardware security mitigation strategies.
  - Cryptographic algorithm, chain of trust, hardware secure boot, and root certificate.
  - Standard for secure communication of multiple devices.
  - Embedded Platforms such as IDE and Debugging platform (industry standard software development and testing tools), C/C++ Coding and Debugging, ARM chipset (ARM Cortex – A53 or similar), Firmware Security / Bootloader / Secure Boot, PCIe Interfaces, DDR4 SDRAM, QSPI NOR Flash.
  - Embedded operation system and drivers such as Linux, OpenWRT, Windows, and others.

OTHERS

Strong written and oral communication skills including technical documentation.
Willing to be assigned and take responsibility for multiple tasks in multiple projects.
Team player, open and collaborative; comfortable in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged.
Must have high integrity, a desire to advance his/her career through hard work and great effort, and an interest to learn the business of the company.
Must be a self-starter, have high energy and possess a can-do attitude.
