What will be your responsibilities?

Responsible for assisting the supervisor, manager, and head of the department in delivering a full range of tax services, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of tax filings and reports for all companies to minimize tax obligations in compliance with tax laws and regulations.

1. Tax filing, accounting, and regulatory compliance:

- Prepare tax returns and related attachments for all tax types of assigned companies for review by supervisors and managers.

- Extract data from the accounting system and verify supporting documents relevant to tax filings and reports.

- Oversee the renewal of relevant BIR registrations, permits, and clearances for all assigned companies.

- Assist in preparing financial statements and other annual compliance requirements for assigned companies and submit them to the BIR and SEC after review by supervisors, managers, and the head.

2. Tax audit and advisory:

- Prepare necessary documents and tax reconciliations as required for BIR assessments.

- Assist in responding to any tax queries related to business transactions.

- Research and understand applicable tax issuances and rulings.

- Communicate noted tax issues to senior team members for review and propose appropriate actions as needed.

3. Tax planning and strategies:

- Assist in determining tax risks and exposures and recommending corrective measures.

- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic tax planning.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and Professional License in Accountancy preferred.
Relevant Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in Taxation.
Business Understanding: Must be familiar with BIR applications and software.
Knowledge of BIR, SEC, and other compliance requirements.
